March is when the giant jigsaw puzzle of trendspotting, idea hunting, speaker sourcing, customer insight (and the odd aha moment!) comes together to form the education program for IMEX Frankfurt in May. I wish I could say it just comes together like magic—but there is something magical about both the process and the outcome. And I’m delighted to share a small insight here before the program goes live in just a few days’ time.

The Tahira touch: How education programming at IMEX works
Being always on the lookout is key. For fresh voices, brilliant storytellers and ideas that resonate. For new ways to learn and new ways to approach perennial issues. Alongside this are the unique possibilities offered by the IMEX environment, from the flexibility to play with the learning spaces, to embracing the inherent appetite for conversation, idea sharing and connection.
Do you know how to find and cherish happiness? IMEX Frankfurt speaker and Tough Talker, Rob Hosking, shares his approach—from a daily happiness practice to developing a personal prescription for mental health. From knowing your own values to voicing your vulnerability, happiness is something we can (and should) all work on.
Our (always-on-the-lookout) CEO, Carina Bauer, shares six insights from Claus Raasted’s keynote at SITE Global last month—and how they resonate personally with her— as he set out the shift from incentive to transformational travel. “It’s not just about the journey you create, it’s about the lives you touch.”
Released to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, our Communications Strategist, Kit Watts’ essay on invisible women, really struck a chord. It’s not something I’ve articulated either to myself or anyone else before, but “maybe it’s because some of us know how it feels to be left out, overlooked, or belittled that we can so finely tune into the needs and experiences of others?”
IMEXfiles is our (almost) monthly collection of thoughts and ideas. If you’ve enjoyed this issue, please do share it. More IMEX inspiration here.
